We have special interest in this area  and Medicus now is known as a center of excellence in Kigezi region for diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Before inception of this unique facility, people had to move to Kampala, the main city of Uganda which is about 500km from Kabale in search of essential diagnostics like Echocardiography and Endoscopy.

Today, all these services are available at Medicus Health Care.

Our cardiovascular disease data has greatly grown and provision of an efficient cardiovascular service that includes diagnosis, treatment and followup has been made possible by adoption of e health technology. We deployed an electronic medical register, Streamline and has been helpful in collating every piece of data at the facility.

We are researchers and we are generating data in a smart way. We shall be able to publish what afflicts our people of Kigezi.
