Bruce is an Internal medicine trained Physician and Head of Internal Medicine at Medicus Health care. He is also a Lecturer and Head of Internal Medicine at Kabale University Medical School.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, An Advanced Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Master’s Degree in Internal Medicine from Mbarara University of Science and Technology and Fellowship of East Central and Southern Africa College of Physicians (ECSACOP). He also holds a Certificate in Cardiovascular disease Prevention from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health.
He worked as a Consultant Physician for 3 years at Kisiizi Hospital a faith based PNFP in South Western Uganda and and still supports Internal Medicine at this facility. He is recipient to the Lown scholarship, a Harvard University supported programme for mentorship and training a team of scholars addressing the burden of cardiovascular diseases around the globe.
He received training and is experienced in performing specialised procedures such as 2D Echocardiography, Upper and Lower GI endoscopy, Holter trace interpretation and Spirometry.
His research interest is entailed at finding low cost solutions for addressing cardiovascular disease burden.
